The Appleby Arrows , founded in 1612, are a Quidditch team based in Appleby, Lincolnshire. The fans tradition of shooting arrows into the air when their Chasers scored was banned in 1894 after referee Nugent Potts was injured in the nose by a stray arrow. They are the traditional rivals of the Wimbourne Wasps.

Their most famous game was in 1932 when the defeated the European champions the Vratsa Vultures in a match lasting sixteen days in dense fog and rain.
