Arthur Weasley is the father of the entire Weasley gang at Hogwarts, the husband of Molly Weasley and the head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, a department in the Ministry of Magic. Arthur Weasley has an interest in Muggle technology. He once owned a Muggle car - a Ford Anglia - which he magically modified to have special abilities. When Harry is with the Weasleys, Arthur asks him many questions about how Muggle technology works, e.g. telephones.
In Harry's fifth year, Arthur is a member of the second Order of the Phoenix.
Arthur has the power to arrest wizards and witches, among them is Willy Widdershins who enchanted Muggle toilets to regurgitate their contents, rather then flush them.
