Barberus Bragge was Chief of the Wizards' Council in 1269. He is credited with introducing the Golden Snidget to the game of Quidditch. For a contemporary account of the events see the letter written by Modesty Rabnott to Prudence Rabnott shortly after the event. The letter is on public display at the Museum of Quidditch in London.
