Bathilda Bagshot

Bathilda Bagshot is the author of A History of Magic published in 1947. Also, she plays an important role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where she is revealed to have been a close friend of the Dumbledore's and the great-aunt of Gellert Grindelwald.

Bathilda is killed by Voldemort and Nagini in 1997, in order to set a trap for Harry Potter.
