Born in 1991, Bonnie plays Ginny Weasley from the Harry Potter films.
This young British actress immensely enjoys dancing, art, and playing instruments, as well as acting and sports like football (soccer), swimming, tennis, riding, ice-skating, cycling and surfing. She loves to travel and has been all over the world! Although she's only fourteen, she appears extremely smart, level-headed, and as we all know, talented.
Bonnie Wright plays Ronald Weasley's younger sister as she embarks on her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was also featured in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as young Ginny Weasley as the rest of the Weasley family waved goodbye to Ron on Platform 9¾, but her true acting talents (aside from brilliantly waving goodbye to her older brother) were revealed in her role in the second film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Bonnie's character, Ginny, is absolutely central to the plot, as Ginny battles with a crush on Harry, the powers of a secret diary, and her tormented conscience.
Bonnie also appears in Hallmark Television's production Stranded and the TV movie Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures. In addition to being a gifted actress, Bonnie also plays the piano, recorder and saxophone.
