Cedric Diggory is a student in the Hufflepuff house of Hogwarts, three years older than Harry. He is the Seeker in the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and also the team captain. Cedric's father, Amos Diggory, works for the Ministry of Magic. Cedric participates in the Triwizard Tournament,he manages to complete the first task , and the second task, and enters the maze with Harry. Both he and Harry seize the Triwizard Cup at the same time and they are transported to the graveyard where Lord Voldemorts father is buried. He is immediately killed by Wormtail on Voldemort's orders. Harry takes Cedric's body back to his parents but in the movie it was his father as a request from Cedric's echo.
