Chief Warlock

A Chief Warlock is a member of the Wizengamot, the wizarding court. The Chief Warlock assumably controls the procession and performs tasks such as questioning the defendant and the accused, reading out the date, time and task to the Court Scribe, and adressing the jury. Previous holders of this title include Barty Crouch, Sr., Cornelius Fudge and Albus Dumbledore, who was reinstated once news came about of Lord Voldemort being back.
