Dai Llewellyn was the most famous player in the Welsh Quidditch team, the Caerphilly Catapults. He was nicknamed Dangerous Dai Llewellyn. Tragically, he was eaten by a Chimaera while on holiday in Greece. This day is a national day of mounring for Welsh wizards. St. Mungo's hospital in London has named its Serious Bites ward after him. Every year the Quidditch League awards the Dangerous Dai Commemortaive Medal to the player who has taken the most dangerous and foolish risks during a game.
Noted Quidditch expert Kennilworthy Whisp has written his biography: He Flew Like a Madman.
