Department of Magical Games and Sports

The Department of Magical Games and Sports belongs to the Ministry of Magic and deals with all sports events in the (British) magical world, including Quidditch. It was established in 1750 and its first official act was setting down the rules for Quidditch. The Department determined who referees all Quidditch games in Britain.

This department is located in level seven of the Ministry and incorporates these institutions:
