Diagon Alley

Diagon Alley is considered to be the commercial hub of the British wizarding world. The name Diagon Alley comes from the term - Diagonally, as in going in a diagonal fashion. It is a cobblestone street, lined on both sides with various shops and other buildings, including:

The Leaky Cauldron is also considered part of Diagon Alley, though it's actually the front for the hidden entrance to it (in the back alley behind the pub). Knockturn Alley is a side street off Diagon Alley which has shops which cater more for the Dark Arts.
