Biography
We don't currently have a lot of information on Evanna Lynch. What we do know is that she has always been a huge fan of the Harry Potter books (she's read them over 6 or 7 times). "Sometimes I'm stressed and I'm sick of things... in Harry Potter you're taken to this wonderful imaginary world where everything is so different." At the release of the fifth instalment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Evanna - who was in hospital at the time - begged her mum to let her queue up for the book. She managed to get it signed by JK Rowling and was first in line.
Evanna heard about the open Luna Lovegood auditions for the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie, and knew that if she didn't go, she'd regret it for the rest of her life. Evanna is an absolute Harry Potter fanatic who has dreamed of playing the role of Luna in the Potter films. She and her friends even created a recording of her acting out the part and sent it to Warner Brothers but without any success. She coaxed her dad to take her to London and she managed to win the role, beating over 15,000 other hopefuls.
