Forest of Dean
From Hpwiki
The Forest of Dean is a real forest which borders Wales, and Hertfordshire in England. It was one of the many sites where Harry and Hermione camped while they were on the run from Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and hunting for the Horcruxes in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
It was here that Snape's patronus, a silver doe, appeared to Harry and led him to the forest pool, at the bottom of which lay the Sword of Gryffindor. When Harry attempted to retrieve the sword, he became strangled by the Horcrux around his neck; therefore, it is also in the Forest of Dean that Ron returns from his leave of absence, saves Harry's life, and destroys the Horcrux.
