From Hpwiki
The Harry Potter Films are based directly on the book series. While events generally follow those of the books, certain things are deleted / changed for time, or due to artistic license.
To date, there have been four Harry Potter films:
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (November 4, 2001)
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (November 3, 2002)
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (June 4, 2004)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (November 18, 2005)
