Hogwarts' Motto

Hogwarts' Motto is Draco Dormiens Numquam Titillandus - this is the quote that appears under the Hogwarts crest on the inside of each Harry Potter book. The school motto is in Latin and means Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon.

People have tried to interpret it in terms of character Draco Malfoy, as well as the outcome of the war. It's just as possible, though, that JK Rowling simply included a fun saying without it being a clue for anything.
