Rules, Styles and Conventions

Please follow the following rules, styles and conventions:

• The entry for Harry Potter is an good example of how an entry should be presented. This includes external links to:
  • discussion threads,
  • lists of fanfics, and
  • galleries of fanart.
• Please don't clutter up any entry with links to your own fics, art or vids; add links to your work on the pages that are linked to from the entries, or create links to other threads, communities or forums where multiple examples of fics, or art, or vids, focused on the subject of the entry can be found.
• You may, however, link to individual essays, with the permission of the writer of the essay, or if said essay is found on FictionAlley, HPFanZone or HPANA.
• Do not create entries for individual writers, vidders or artists; you may, however, link from an entry to a writer, vidder or artist's journal, Author Page, blog, YahooGroup or other public site.
• Do not link to private entries, friends-locked entries or any page which contains NC-17 content.

Appropriateness

The operators of HPWiki do not prescreen links or entries for content, propriery or appropriateness; if you follow any link on HPWiki or read any entry on HPWiki which you believe violates the FictionAlley Terms of Use, please notify the help desk at help@fictionalley.org immediately; we will not necessarily see edits on the page, or comments, so we ask that you not "notify" the help desk that way.
