Indicates that the article is at stub status. The notice should go at the bottom of the page.

{{vfd}}

Indicates that an article has been recommended for deletion. This notice should be added to the top of the article.

{{Holdon}}

Used in conjunction with the template:vfd listed above to prevent quick deletion where the original author or someone else has a valid reason to keep the page. Should be placed directly below the {{vfd}} template.

{{Merge|PageName}}

Indicates that the article does not meet out standards and/or is also covered in a similar article, where it would be best served to merge the information of the two. Should go atthe top of the article.

{{Relevance}}

Indicates that the information contained within the article may not be relevant to the Harry Potter "universe". Should be placed at the top of the article.

{{Expand}}

Use at the top of articles that have some useful information, but need more work. It draws attention to articles that may otherwise be overlooked. Should not be used at the same time as {{stub}}, which is for articles with little or no information.

Use at the top of articles that have information and/or data that have relied upon just one source that may not be 100% accurate.

{{DirectCopy}}

This template is used when it has been found that the current article is wholly or largely a direct copy from another web site, such as Wikipedia. The HP Wiki wants to create a site with high quality, original content.
