Hufflepuff

Hufflepuff is one of the four houses of Hogwarts. These houses are named after the four founders of Hogwarts, this one after Helga Hufflepuff. It fits the witches and wizards that are more nice than clever, more quiet than courageous. The Sorting Hat characterizes this house as follows:

"You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffs are true

And unafraid of toil."

This house's emblem is a black badger. The house colour (e.g., for the Quidditch robes) is canary yellow. The head of Hufflepuff house is Professor Sprout. The house ghost is the Fat Friar.

Hufflepuff house is located in an unknown part of the castle, though possibly in a lower level of the castle, perhaps near the kitchens.
