Original owner/creator of Harry's Cloak of Invisibility, which is one of the Deathly Hallows. Brother to Antioch Peverell and Cadmus Peverell, owners/creators of the other two Deathly Hallows - the Elder Wand and the Resurrection Stone.
Is fabled as the younger brother in Beedle the Bard's "Tale of the Three Brothers".
Is an ancestor of Harry Potter (through James Potter). Ignotus Peverell was buried in Godric's Hollow, we know that when death told him it was time for him to leave he 'walked hand in hand' as he had concered(?) death and hid from him for many years.
Although it is said that Harry Potters Invisibility cloak is that of his-Dumbledore states that the cloak he wore was a special one which could neither be seen by death or tracked down. It stayed on through his life and might have been an invisible cloak to death rather than others.
