Levicorpus is the incantation of a hex that levitates a person in the air by the ankle. Found in the copy of Advanced Potion-Making once owned by the Half-Blood Prince, and according to Severus Snape, invented by him. Countered by Liberacorpus

• In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by James Potter against Serverus Snape, both as children, just after an OWL exam.
• In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by Harry Potter. Accidently used against Ron upon discovering the spell in the Half-Blood Prince's book.
