MWPP stands for Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs - aliases for the four Marauders: Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and James Potter. The nicknames are dervied from either their animagus form or from their other natural state. Remus (Moony) was bitten by a werewolf and therefore turns into one at the full moon. The other three became illegal animaguses to assist Remus with his transformation - Peter (Wormtail) a rat, Sirius (Padfoot) a dog and James (Prongs) a stag. The order of the marauders death can be found out by the phrase Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. In reverse it is Prongs, Padfoot, Wormtail and Moony. Prongs (James Potter) dies first, then Padfoot (Sirius Black), Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew) and finally, Moony (Remus Lupin).
