Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw is one of the four houses of Hogwarts. These houses are named after the four founders of Hogwarts, this one after Rowena Ravenclaw. It plays the role of the neutral power which is nonetheless as clever as the main actors. With the words of the Sorting Hat, Ravenclaw's nature is this:

"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

If you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind."

This house's emblem is a bronze eagle. The house colour (e.g., for the Quidditch robes) is blue. The head of Ravenclaw house is Professor Flitwick. The house ghost is the Grey Lady.

Ravenclaw house is located in the west tower of the castle. To gain assess to the Ravenclaw tower, you must answer a question from a bronze eagle witch is mounted on a door. The door has no handle or keyhole. The questions are often complicated such as:

"Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?"
