Stan Shunpike

Stan Shunpike is the conductor of the Knight Bus. During Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince he was arrested under accusations of being a Death Eater, an accusation that Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter find absurd. Harry's refusal to support the Ministry of Magic is due in part to Stan's false imprisonment.
