While there is something around Harry's neck on the US cover, it does not look like a locket. To me, it looks like a leather pouch - whether or not this contains a locket, is a different matter... --AndyM 14:09, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I could barely tell there was something there!

I think the illustrator for the US cover did an excellent job. I think it looked like they(Harry and Voldey) were in the Ministry of Magic in the Veil Room where Sirius died. The veil was split and Voldey was about to attack. I couldn't explain Harry. Maybe he had taken the dust of Sirius's bones and had thrown them up to God, but that's a little dramatic, don't you think? And Harry's religion isn't stated anywhere!
