The Wizards' Council is the organisational body which preceeded the Ministry of Magic.

- Barberus Bragge was Chief of the Wizards' Council in 1269
- Burdock Muldoon was Chief of the Wizards' Council in the 14th century.
- Elfrida Clagg succeeds Muldoon as Chief of the Wizards' Council.
