A Nimbus Two Thousand and One is a very advanced model of broomstick used to play Quidditch. The Nimbus Two Thousand and One is a further development of the Nimbus Two Thousand, which is left behind in speed and can be outmanoeuvred easily. There is only one model that can beat a Nimbus Two Thousand and One any time, the Firebolt.

Draco Malfoy owns a Nimbus Two Thousand and One, as do the members of the Slytherin Quidditch team in Harry's second year, after Lucius Malfoy "donates" them to the team (essentially a bribe to ensure Draco is picked as the new Seeker)
